These birds are small but highly visible, even in among the new yellow-green lilac leaves. And they are a true delight, even if they only stay for a short time.
(Still this week, they remain.)

American Goldfinches are one of my favorite birds. Every time I see one in my backyard or hear it sing it's little song, I smile and feel happy. They are little balls of sunshine that always make my day, especially when I'm depressed and when the weather is gloomy. :D Great website & great pictures!
